Day 01: Arrival in Udaipur

Arrival in Udaipur Airport/Railway station and get transferred to your hotel. Udaipur is known as the ‘City of Lakes’ and the ‘Venice of the East’. Nestled around the Aravali hills, with its royal palaces casting their shadows on its mighty lakes, Udaipur boasts of an incredibly serene setting for a romantic getaway with your better half. Post check-in you are free to relax and spend the day at leisure. It is recommended that you take a stroll through the fascinating lanes of Udaipur and witness the heritage of the Mewar dynasty. Walking through the busy (yet relaxed) market of Udaipur is also a good idea. The markets in this city cover a variety of items like silver ware, Jewelery, textile, clothing, handicrafts, wooden toys, paintings, and a lot more items. The popular places to shop are Bada Bazaar, Hathi Pol, Palace Road and Chetak Circle. In the evening, go for a boat ride at Lake Pichola and visit Jag mandir. The experience is sure to immerse you with a sense of calm and peace and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Udaipur

Today, explore the beautiful sights of the city at leisure. After a late breakfast, start your day with a visit to Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, a wonderfully well maintained heritage garden. Proceed to visit the Museum of folk arts, which has a remarkable collection of Rajasthani folk art. You can experience a variety of cultural performances and exhibits under one roof showcasing India’s rural heritage.

Later proceed for city palace- the most marvelous landmarks of the city. The museum in the palace is one of the highlights. (You may choose to take an audio guide on direct payment basis). It is suggested that you also visit Jagdish temple, a fine example of Hindu temple architecture, situated at a walking distance away from the palace in the middle of the bustling bazaars.

In the evening, proceed for Monsoon palace for the best view of the city at Sunset and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 03: Udaipur to Mount Abu(180 km| Approx 3 hours)

Post breakfast, proceed for your journey to Mount Abu- the only hill station in Rajasthan. Incredibly picturesque, the place is extremely popular amongst couples and families. Reach your hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore the place at leisure. (Tip! - You may choose to spend your evening at the Sunset point!)and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel. 

Day 04: Departure from Udaipur(180 km| Approx 3 hours)

Post breakfast, visit the Dilwara Jain temples and Nakki Lake. which are considered by many as the most magnificent Jain temples. You are sure to be amazed by the intricate architecture of the temples- the fine carvings on the pillars and domes will again leave you wondering in amazement on the craftsmanship of our ancient temple makers. Later drive to Udaipur Airport/Railway station for your onward journey.
